How to Clean a Cybex Stroller Quick and Easy

How to clean a Cybex stroller

Follow these easy steps for all Cybex stroller types to get your stroller gleaming again. 

  • Clean the frame with a damp cloth and mind detergent, allowing it to air dry completely. Don’t use any abrasives. 
  • If the stroller has been exposed to salt water, we recommend rinsing it down with fresh tap water. 
  • Fabric covers are machine washable on a gentle cycle at no more than 30 degrees. 
  • Don’t tumble dry; keep out of direct sunlight when air drying. 
  • Don’t use bleach or harsh chemicals to clean your Cybex stroller
  • For the canopy, hand wash with a mild detergent with a clean cloth and warm water.

Removing the fabric from your Cybex Priam stroller 

To machine wash the fabrics on your Cybex Priam stroller, you first need to remove the fabrics from your seat unit. Follow these simple steps: 

  • Remove the canopy by locating the clips and unclipping
  • The elastic strap can be removed on either side of the canopy to slide the adapters off so you can remove the inside structure for easier cleaning
  • Turn the Cybex Priam on its side and begin to unsnap the buttons underneath and around the edge of the seat
  • Detach the strap underneath from the metal connector piece by sliding it off 
  • Pull off the shoulder pads and central buckle pad
  • Unthread the straps by pulling them up through the plastic adjustment tab 
  • Pull the front fabric piece forward to reveal the shoulder straps at the back and unclip from the metal connectors
  • Lift up the pad from the bottom and undo the velcro pieces
  • Pull off the footrest 
  • Peel away the front piece of fabric, threading the straps through the slots
  • In the lower back of the seat, detach the elastic straps to pull away the rest of the fabric from the seat. 
  • Wash according to the care instructions above.

Removing the fabric from your Cybex Balios stroller 

  • First, detach the canopy by unsnapping the buttons along the canopy edge where it meets the stroller seat
  • Pull the clamps on either side of the rim of the canopy to release it from the stroller seat
  • The canopy can then be hand washed
  • Remove the bumper bar
  • Pull forward the front fabric piece on the seat unit to reveal the shoulder straps at the back that are attached using a metal buckle which needs unclipping
  • Release the front fabric piece of the stroller
  • Unsnap the buttons on either side of the seat base
  • Turn the seat upside down so you can see the buttons underneath; reach your hand in and pop them off too 
  • This will allow you to slide the fabric off the seat unit
  • Wash using the care instructions above.

  • Start by removing the canopy fabric by unsnapping the buttons at the back and underneath the canopy
  • Unclip the canopy from the frame on either side of the stroller
  • Unzip the zip that attaches the canopy fabric to the stroller
  • Lift the canopy fabric and remove it as one piece
  • For the main seat unit fabric, locate the buttons underneath the seat and undo
  • Undo the fabric from the side of the frame
  • Slide the seat unit fabric off in one piece
  • Clean according to the care instructions above

  • Start from removing the canopy from the stroller frame 
  • Undo the buttons that attach the fabric to the handlebars
  • Unsnap the buttons all the way around the canopy fabric
  • Unclip the canopy attachments on either side of the Libelle stroller and remove
  • For the seat unit, unclip the latch at the top, either side of the stroller that attaches the fabric to the frame
  • Fold the loose fabric down and locate the zip underneath; unzip and unclip any remaining clips 
  • Peel the fabric away from the seat unit
  • Wash according to the care instructions above.
