How to fit a CabrioFix i-Size car seat
This car seat is suitable for use rear-facing only as this is the safest way for your little one to travel until they’re at least 15 months old. With a seat belt
- Place your car seat on the seat of the vehicle, making sure the base of the seat is firmly touching the seat of the car and isn’t tilted.
- Pull the vehicle waist belt through the seat belt holders on either side of the car seat and insert the belt into the buckle.
- Pull the longer part of the vehicle seat belt around the back of the car seat and through the seat belt holder.
- Make sure there are no twists or turns in the car seat.
- Put your hand on the top of the car seat to hold it in place and pull on the vehicle’s seat belt to secure it in place.
With ISOFIX base
- Push out the ISOFIX points on your CabrioFix i-Size ISOFIX base using the indicators on either side of the base. The ISOFIX points are the yellow metal bars at the back of the base.
- Pull out the leg from underneath the CarbioFix base and extend.
- Place the base on the back seat of your car, making sure the leg is firm to the footwell.
- Locate your vehicle’s ISOFIX fixing points integrated within your vehicle’s back seat. Most cars are fitted with them, and cars built after 2014 will certainly have them as it became a legal requirement.

- Attach the backrest to the base of the seat and lift the backrest upwards until you hear a click.
