Children’s Days in December

Around the world, there are many different children’s days that celebrate the lives of the young, this month we look at the different events globally that take place during December.

South Sudan:

On the 23rd December, the people in South Sudan celebrate Children’s Day – the birthday of South Sudan’s “greatest child” which dates back to tribal mythology, the day is a day of fun and partying across the country.

Congo:

Along with Chad, Cameroon, Gabon and Central African Republic, Congo celebrate Children’s Day on the 25th December every year in honour and thanks to all of the children that live in these countries and provide the future.
