Furthermore, children must be placed in a rear-facing position until 15 months to provide proper protection. Finally, booster seats can only be used by children over 125cm, meaning high-backed models are recommended for most children.

These car seats are perfect for growing children as they include full adjustability, which allows safe travel for them. This includes amendments to the headrest, armrests, neck support, and safety straps. 

Some car seats will use a harness system for all ages, whereas others will allow a transition to booster mode, which allows the child to use the vehicle's seat belt instead of a harness to secure the car seat.
