Axkid Minikid, model 2018, has been designed to provide the best possible safety and comfort for both small and large children, enabling your child to travel rear-facing for as long as possible.

The new Axkid Minikid comes with the innovative side impact protection - ASIP (Axkid Side Impact Protection), developed together with a recognised crash institute in Germany, providing the best possible protection for the child in the event of a side impact collision. ASIP should be used on the side of the car seat that is facing the car’s door. When using the car seat in the middle, ASIP is not required.

The support leg has been developed and improved, and can now be extended with just one button, which is easier to access from the side. 

The cover has been improved, and the moment of taking on and off the cover has been simplified, so that the ability to wash the cover becomes easier. The headrest is thicker and cosier, for optimal comfort for the child when asleep. The unique feature of the headrest and internal harness, which automatically adjusts according to the child's length and size when you pull the belt, remains with a clearer brake.

The self-tightening tether straps makes the installation smooth when the car seat is “wiggled” in place. The adjustable support leg in the front allows you to use five different positions for optimal slope for your child, depending on age and length. If more slope is needed, our angle adjusting wedge is a good addition.

Axkid Minikid is approved 0-25 kg (approximately 125 cm, 6 years) and has received excellent reviews from several independent test institutes. It is Plus approved up to 25 kg, received the "Good Choice 2015" award by Folksam, "Best Cost Value" by Best-in-test.se and is Rollover approved by VCA.

Axkid Minikid is always delivered with a black baby cushion, to provide better support for the youngest children. Axkid Minikid, 0-25 kg, does not replace the infant carrier. We always recommend starting use an infant carrier, because it is best suited for the smallest children. When your child has out-grown the infant carrier, Axkid Minikid is a good choice for your child to travel rear-facing for a long time.

Axkid Minikid comes with one pair of tether straps, for use if the car doesn’t have pre-installed attachment loops.

Lead times & Delivery Status

Next Day Deliveries

These are items which are generally IN STOCK, and held in our warehouse. If you place your order before 3pm we are able to dispatch these items the same day. Your order should therefore be with you the following working day depending on your location. 

Direct Deliveries

Our direct delivery orders come directly to you from our suppliers. Our direct delivery orders will have a lead timescale at the time of order, on occasion our suppliers do deliver sooner than this. Should they encounter any delays we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to advise you of this and to discuss options and next steps. As these are dispatched from our supplier, Courier's policies may vary. Please see the delivery disclaimer on the product page which will outline the delivery procedure and timescale for each individual direct delivery Item.

These products are available with the supplier and will be reserved for you, we aim to  deliver your order to you within the timescale quoted. Your order status will show as awaiting stock until we receive the product in our warehouse. As soon as your order is with us, this will be dispatched to you on a standard delivery service. The estimate delivery dates provided on these items are subject to change.

Pre-Orders

These products are not in stock with us or our suppliers however the supplier has an indication as to when they will have stock available, and they estimate the delivery date with us. Any order placed under this status will reserve the product for the first shipment that is delivered to us from the supplier. They estimate to have the product delivered to you by the estimated date given when your order is placed. The estimate delivery dates provided on these items are subject to change.

These are the correct timescales for Mainland UK. Delivery outside of the mainland UK does add up to 72 hours.

All deliveries will receive an update once dispatched from our warehouse followed by tracking information provided by either ourselves and our courier or, if on direct delivery, from our suppliers and their couriers.
