There is no denying that children are expensive. Furthermore, children must be placed in a rear-facing position until 15 months to provide proper protection. Finally, booster seats can only be used by children over 125cm, meaning high-backed models are recommended for most children.

Some car seats will use a harness system for all ages, whereas others will allow a transition to booster mode, which allows the child to use the vehicle's seat belt instead of a harness to secure the car seat.
