Britax BABY-SAFE iSENSE Group 0+ Car Seat:

The BABY-SAFE iSENSE combines high-end protection with unparalleled innovation in comfort, for you and your little one. It is equipped with carefully placed smart lights which turn on and off automatically to simplify the installation in the car or on a pushchair. You can also turn the lights on and off manually to provide comfort for your child and be able to see it even when it is dark outside.The infant carrier accompanies your baby from birth up to 15 months and can easily be installed on the included FLEX BASE iSENSE, or pushchairs like the SMILE III (sold separately). Adjustable, cosy lying positions ensure ergonomic and safe travels at all times.

Features:

• Easy access - The rotating feature of the base allows you to turn the infant carrier to the open car door, making it easy to remove you baby from the seat and put them into the carrycot on the pushchair for longer walks or simply back into the house.
• Lie-flat technology - Allows for a more comfortable and more ergonomic position for newborns. Our patented integral recline mechanism allows you to adjust the flatness of the lying position according to the child’s height. The position changes automatically when adjusting the headrest, increasing the space to suit your child’s development. The shoulder straps also adjust automatically when adjusting the headrest.
• Newborn insert - Especially designed to give extra support to small babies. The included newborn insert with removable, energy-absorbing foam pads reduces the space and offers additional comfort.
• Safety lights - In dark environments, the safety lights help guide your way when walking to the car with the infant carrier or when pushing the pushchair with the infant carrier installed. The safety lights are also automatically activated when the infant carrier is moved in a dark environment.
• Interior ambient lights - The interior ambient lights can be turned on to provide additional comfort for your little one. They also allow you to see your child even when it’s dark, to make sure that it is well at all times. The interior ambient lights can also assist you when harnessing your child in the dark.
• Installation lights - In dark environments, the installation lights on the BABY-SAFE iSENSE guide you for a safe installation in the car or on the pushchair. The installation lights are automatically activated when it's dark and the infant carrier is moved. Once installed on the FLEX BASE iSENSE (sold separately), the installation lights are switched off automatically. When installed on a pushchair, the installation lights again turn off automatically and the safety lights come on for improved visibility in dark conditions.
• Easy release with CLICK & GO® adapters - The infant carrier can easily be taken off the pushchair so parent can remain in an ergonomic, upright position while lifting the carrier up. Simply use the handle at the back of the infant carrier to unlock it from the pushchair and lift it off with ease.
• 5-point harness - We believe a 5-point harness is the safest way to secure your child in a car seat because it keeps your child safe and tight in the seat’s protective shell. In the event of a collision, the harness distributes the forces of the impact across 5 points, two at the shoulders, two at the hips and one where the harness buckles between the legs. This helps to protect your child from all directions of impact.
• Easy adjustable headrest and harness - Our padded headrest and harness can easily be adjusted with one hand to suit your child’s height. Before you secure your little one in the harness, check to make sure the headrest is in the correct position – just above its shoulders.
• Adjustable handle - The adjustable handle allows you to easily move it to the back and place your child in the infant carrier. Simply press the buttons on each side of the handle to unlock and move it. When the carrier is placed on the floor, we recommend folding the handle back completely to prevent rocking.
• Sun canopy - The sun canopy offers protection for your child from the sun (UPF 50+) and wind both in the car and on the pushchair. The attachment points are conveniently located on the sides of the handle so you can carry the infant carrier while the sun canopy is in use.
• Comfortable and stylish premium covers - The newly designed covers are as stylish and comfortable as it gets. Made of an even softer fabric combined with improved fitting, these premium covers result in additional comfort for your baby.
• Quick-remove cover - Things can get pretty messy on the road. Drinks can spill and children can get car sick. That’s why we designed a machine washable seat cover that can easily be taken off without removing the harness, so you can clean up quick and get on your way.

Britax DUALFIX iSENSE Group 0+/1 Car Seat:

The DUALFIX iSENSE is our smartest follow-up seat to use after the BABY-SAFE iSENSE or any other infant carrier. Easily clicked onto the included FLEX BASE iSENSE, it provides superior protection and cosy comfort for many journeys to come, until your child is four years old. The DUALFIX iSENSE meets the i-Size standard and features smart lighting technology, allowing your child to see and to be seen.

Features:

• 360 degree rotation - Your child can easily be placed and harnessed in the seat thanks to the rotation feature, which allows you to turn the car seat to the door. Whilst we recommend keeping your little one rearward facing as long as possible, the transition to the forward facing position is quick and easy when your child is old enough. With a single flick of a switch on the bottom of the base, you can also turn the seat a full 360 degrees.
• Extended rearward facing - Rearward facing car seats offer the best protection in the event of a frontal collision – the most frequent type of accident on the roads. In a frontal collision with a rearward facing seat the crash forces are directed to the back of the seat, while the remaining energy is spread evenly across the head, neck and upper body. With a forward facing seat the energy of the impact is distributed differently across the seat structure and restraint system – potentially resulting in more energy impacting on the child’s body. We recommend that children should travel rearward facing for as long as possible.

Britax FLEX BASE iSENSE:

With the FLEX BASE iSENSE, you are ready for four years of convenient safety on the road. The modular base is compatible with the BABY-SAFE iSENSE and the new BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE, as well as the DUALFIX iSENSE – and each of them can be installed on the base with just one click. The rotating feature allows you to turn each seat towards the car door, making it easy to place and harness your child. Additionally, the DUALFIX seats can be turned 360 degrees, allowing forward-facing travel when your child exceeds 15 months and 76cm.

• Modular Base system - The modular FLEX BASE iSENSE is compatible with the BABY-SAFE iSENSE, the BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE, and the DUALFIX iSENSE.
• Easy access - The rotating feature of the base allows you to turn the seat to the car door, allowing you to easily place your child in and out of the seat.
• Adjustable rebound bar - The rebound bar not only helps to prevent the child car seat from tilting in an impact, but can also be adjusted by an entire 8 degrees. This allows you to easily adjust the rebound bar to the backrest of the vehicle seat and gives your child 10% of additional leg space.
• Adjustable angle optimisation - In cars with inclined vehicle seats, there may be a risk of your child's head tipping forward especially when they fall asleep in a car seat. • The Britax Römer Pivot Link ISOFIX System - In case of an impact, our patented Pivot Link ISOFIX System directs the force first downward (1), into the vehicle seat, and then forward (2), more gently – greatly reducing the risk of head and neck injury for your child.
• Smart and adjustable support leg - The support leg provides extra stability for the infant carrier base via the vehicle floor. It minimises the tilting and rotational movement and reduces the forward movement forces exerted on your child in a crash situation, helping to protect them. For a secure installation, the support leg can be adjusted to suit the height that’s best for your car. The easy-to-read indicator shows you when the support leg is positioned firmly on your vehicle’s floor, changing from red to black when correctly installed. Additionally, the support leg will notify you with a sound if not correctly installed.
• ISOFIX ratchet system - The ISOFIX ratchet system allows the ISOFIX arms to extend so you can easily fit or remove the infant carrier base from the ISOFIX anchorage points in the car. Once the ISOFIX connectors are engaged, push the base until it touches the back of the vehicle seat. This prevents the infant carrier from lifting upwards in case of an impact.
• Easy storage - We know that parents of young children have lots of baby items to store so we have designed the infant carrier base with convenient storage in mind. The support leg folds up so you can easily pack it away in your car’s boot or at home. By folding the leg under the seat this also deactivates the security beep from the support leg to provide a peaceful storage solution.
